My child is continuing with instrumental lessons what is happening this term?

Children who are continuing with lessons have now been to their initial lesson and need to ensure that they have their instrument on the correct day and to practise regularly at home.

My child has expressed an interest in learning an instrument this term?

If you filled in a form at the end of the summer term your child has now met with the teacher and will be having lessons.

Do I have to buy an instrument?

No, please don't. We have several instruments that we can loan free of charge and these will be sorted this week. You will be asked to sign a loan agreement to say that you will care for the instrument. If you have an instrument please send it in with your child and the teacher will assess its suitability.

When do I pay?

Invoices will be sent out during the course of this half term. We subsidise lessons and they are very reasonable. You can either pay 50.00 termly or, in advance, 135.00 for the whole year.

How many lessons will my child have?

Children have 34 lessons across the year. If a teacher is unable to attend they will make up the lessons at the end of each term.
